Hello Greg. I'm sure you remember me as I've become persona non grata at Epinions.com.

Anyways, I'm glad you cited Cryptograms as one of the best albums of 2007 which I love in tune with the Fluorescent Grey EP. I think I prefer that record over Microcastle though I love all of their stuff they did since Cryptograms. I saw them last year and that was a great show. You can check my review of the show, on my film blog, where I was on stage with the band.

As far as Sonic Youth is concerned. I confess, I'm not really familiar with their work though I do love Daydream Nation. While I'm currently in an excited state over the news about the reformation of the Stone Roses. I'm still sad about the idea that Sonic Youth might break up. R.E.M. was devastating enough but I think for those who grew up in the world of alt-rock. It's an end of an era.

This is the first time I'm watching your vlog and I like it. I think you bring out more of your personality and knowledge of what you know than in your reviews, which I still enjoy to read.

I hope you can check out my music blog The Void-Go-Round where I'm just doing older records and various projects. I've kinda lost interest in writing new album reviews. Plus, I'm working on various projects including the first of a series of essays on my favorite albums which the first part will come next month to conclude a project I've been doing called 1991-20.

I like this blog and will be reading more of this. Take care.
