I would also mention Beach Boys Summer Days (And Summer Nights), Islands Return to the Sea, Michigan by Sufjan, Iron & Wine Our Endless Numbered Days, Belle and Sebastian The Life Pursuit, and Volume II by She & Him. I know you have lots of music to get too, but I think you should give She & Him a whirl on a hot summer night.
